We were impressed and grateful for Gasperson Moving Services, which we used recently to move our small business across town.  You couldn’t ask for a more professional, helpful, courteous, competent, intelligent and reliable staff.  Everything was great.

Tom Hunnicutt, the owner and general manager, came out to do the estimate for the move, and we were impressed that he was thorough and thoughtful.  He took a good look at things, measured, and did a realistic assessment, so that there wouldn’t be any surprises or add-on fees when it came time for the actual move.   Also, we really liked using their stackable, plastic “totes” (instead of cardboard boxes), which stack four high on a base of wheels.  This made doing our own packing much easier.

We felt reassured that that there was always someone helpful, intelligent and pleasant available to answer questions or help us when we called with a concern.

As for the actual movers, as said above, you couldn’t have asked for a more courteous, respectful, competent, intelligent, considerate, helpful, and nicer group of movers.  They were, each and every one of them, really terrific.  They took good care of our things, they were careful not to markup walls or hardwood flooring, and they were especially helpful with the placement of furniture in the new place.  They arrived on time and the move was completed in the estimated amount of time.

We can’t say enough good things about Gasperson.  Moving is difficult and stressful, and one can so easily be ripped off.  You really need a trustworthy moving service that you can rely on.  We were completely satisfied with Gasperson.  The owner seemed like a very genuine and honest person, who seems to have a knack for hiring good, decent, intelligent, nice people for his staff.   It was a pleasure to meet Tom, and special thanks to Doug for going above and beyond to help out in many ways.

We worry that this review might sound too glowing, but we really can only think of nice things to say about Gasperson.  Moving is an event that can leave you vulnerable, and we were so relieved and grateful to have found a moving service run and staffed by decent, good people.

I am a repeat customer. Although I had hoped my prior move was my last, I had to do it again and called Gasperson without hesitation.

I moved my clothes on hangers on trips to my new location. I left all my clothes in the drawers of my bedroom furniture. I packed my own boxes and bags.

The estimator was very helpful explaining the little things I needed to do help protect my belongings. He pointed out my options for transporting flat screenTV  and lamps which I opted to secure in my back seat.

Day of move the two men arrived on time and went to work immediately. Two oversize reclining sofas (had to take apart), dining table and chairs, bar stools, four piece living room table set, three piece 8′ wide wall unit, three bedroom wall/storage units, two stainless steel shelves on wheels, and several bags, crates, and plastic storage containers.

My move was a 30 minute drive from Gasperson, an hour drive to new location, and another 30 minutes back to Gasperson, so the cost was a little higher because of the travel time for a two man crew. Still, I was fully pleased at the energy level and attention to detail. Everything arrived in good shape and placed carefully inside my new place.
